Make sure YOU can be in Nimbin for the next
Nimbin Performance Poetry World Cup
Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd
at the Nimbin Town Hall
In the 2014 NPPWC there were 36 wonderful poets, 16 went through to the semi-finals, 8 then took to the grand stage for the final in a packed Nimbin Hall.
Rebecca Rushbrook was the winner, taking home the big shiny cup and $2000, a very happy woman.
Tug Dumbly was the People’s Choice winner. Another fantastic weekend of spoken word, shared, many people experienced Performance Poetry for the first time and now KNOW they actually do ‘like’ poetry. It was a wonderful effort by everyone to make this happen. Thanks, and thanks again. Gail.
Congratulations to the 2012 NPPWC winner; Candy Royalle and all those who performed including, the Peoples Choice; Stefanie Petrik.
